This is a 2008 54cm Specialized Roubaix Compact, featuring an aluminum frame, carbon fork, stays, and seat post, and a like-new wheelset. The bike is in good shape, with a little cosmetic damage. Used for city commuting for one year, then very occasional long rides. I don't need or use the bike anymore and it's time to give it up. Mechanically in great shape, everything is stock except the wheels, tires, and the front shifter (Shimano 105 Double, better suited for this drive train). The geometry is very relaxed. The carbon stays and fork really absorb vibration and the Mavic wheels are bombproof (great for city streets). I can ride this bike 40+ miles in total comfort without gloves or padded shorts!
chainwheels, cassette, and chain have been replaced
upgraded wheels to Mavic CXP22 (retail $190, riden less than 500 miles!)
tires are Specialized All Condition Armadillo Tech
